Agera One
Koenigsegg’s latest model, the Agera One, is estimated to go from 0 to 248 mph in 20 seconds. Founder of the Swedish high-performance automobile manufacturer Koenigsegg Automotive AB., Christian Von Koenigsegg, is planning to build a model that will make just as much power as it weighs in kilograms. That means the upcoming “One” megacar will make 1400 horsepower and weigh 1400 kg’s, and will be powered by a twin-turbo 5.0-liter v8. Hence the one-to-one ratio and the model name “One”. All this translates to a top speed exceeding 280 miles per hour. That literally makes every other production car look slow. Koenigsegg will make only 6 of these models, all of which have been pre-sold already. This car is still a concept and no release date is yet confirmed. 
Wow! Thats one fast car. I am very curious in learning a little about sports cars just to have a little knowledge under my belt when my best friend goes on a rampage about them. I am curious to keep up with these "super cars" that you speak of and maybe even teach him a little something about them. I think you can work on elaborating on all the technical things just so people with less knowledge like me will understand all your points. I understood the numbers stated in this post were off the charts but with a little more detail I could truly grasp just how off the charts they really are.

ReplyDeleteI saw a Koenigsegg’s race a ferrari, and it blew the Ferarri out the way on a 0-200 meter race. Very nice post Mohammed, I liked how you put not only the Mph but how much it weighs because that goes in perspective on how fast a car can get. These new cars are wickedly fast, and I can't wait to see your other posts
